At GOBA we are privileged that the company's continued trend of visionary thinking and innovation is deeply rooted in the South African consulting engineering landscape.
The numerous infrastructure projects that started to alter the rural countryside of South Africa in a big way over the last 50 to 60 years have contributed significantly to the country's economic development. In the process much of the technical knowledge and expertise gained or perfected has been instrumental in the growth of what today is known as GOBA.
The designs and construction monitoring of silos, railways, mining infrastructure, dams and tunnels, masts, roads and bridges, etc, have in many cases been associated with the staff at the company. The continued involvement in prominent and exciting projects is proof of the good that can always be achieved through visionary thinking.
Founded in 2001 through the merger of Goba Moahloli and Associates Inc. and Keeve Steyn (Pty) Ltd, GOBA represents a recognition of the powerful synergy inherent in merging the two diverse companies. Trueman who had received assistance through a Keeve Steyn bursary at university in the 1970's became Executive Chairman and the rest is history.
