Mentorship Programme
At GOBA we strive to be the employer of choice in the engineering consulting industry and a key component of this strategy is the attraction and mentoring of young talent. A mentorship programme has been set up to assist graduates towards obtaining professional registration. The mentorship programme is also aimed at retaining and training new talent.
The programme involves quarterly meetings where graduates meet and discuss training and ECSA related issues. Site visits to some of the company's major projects are organised to give candidates an opportunity to get a sense of what is happening beyond their immediate work zone. Candidates are also encouraged to share their personal experiences at monthly peer group presentations.
The success of our mentoring programme is demonstrated by the ever increasing number of candidates who have obtained their professional registration status.
